The annual requirement of reporting to the FSA office can be referred to as crop reporting, acreage reporting, or crop certification.  Acreage reports are required to be filed by any producer requesting payments. This includes DCP, ACRE, NAP, CRP, LDP and SURE.

Although the deadline for submitting your acreage report is July 15, 2012, we encourage you to submit them as soon as possible.  Replant payments will not be made until we receive them. Filing an accurate acreage report for all crops and land uses, including failed acreage and prevented planting acreage, can prevent the loss of benefits for a variety of programs.
